Topaz Winters, founder & editor-in-chief
is the Singaporean-American author of So, Stranger (Button Poetry 2022), which won the Button Poetry Short Form Contest & was a 2025 Sealey Challenge Pick & LitBowl Best Poetry Book of 2022. Her debut poetry collection, Portrait of My Body as a Crime I’m Still Committing (Button Poetry 2019 & 2024), was a finalist in the Broken River & Gaudy Boy Poetry Book Prizes. Topaz’s poetry, fiction, & nonfiction are published in The Drift, Poetry Online, Waxwing, Passages North, Pithead Chapel, & others. Her work has received support from the Studios at MASS MoCA, the Sundress Academy for the Arts, & the National YoungArts Foundation. She lives between New York & Singapore.
Yvanna Vien Tica, managing editor
is a hearing-impaired Filipina writer who grew up in Manila and near Chicago. An MFA candidate in poetry at IU Bloomington, she has published work in Poetry, TriQuarterly, Prairie Schooner, and Shenandoah, among others. She is a reader for the Indiana Review. In her spare time, she can be found playing card games with loved ones and thanking God for another day.
Courtney Felle, press editor
is an MA/PhD student in Writing, Rhetoric, and Literacy and Disability Studies. They are interested in narratives of (un)diagnosis, craftivism via DisCrochet, large mugs of tea, ultra-specific Spotify playlists, and terrible reality TV. You can find their writing in Electric Literature, Teen Vogue, A Velvet Giant, and Glass: A Journal of Poetry, among other publications.
Hajjar Baban, journal editor
is the author of Low Flying Planes, winner of the 2025 National Poetry Series, selected by Jake Skeets for Milkweed Editions (2026) and the chapbook What I Know of the Mountains (Anhinga Press, 2019), winner of the 2018 Rick Campbell Chapbook Prize. A Pakistan-born Afghan Kurdish poet, she is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she was a member of the First Wave Scholarship Program. A 2021 Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow, she is a recent graduate of an MFA in Poetry at the University of Virginia. A Pushcart Prize-winning poet, Baban served as the 2017 Detroit Youth Poet Laureate and has work appearing in Guernica, Pleiades, and Poetry Daily, among others. She spends most of her time avoiding running from herself.
Ana Mourant, copy editor
is a part-Indigenous Alaskan professionally trained editor who loves music and nature. She holds a certificate in editing as well as a certificate in storytelling and content strategy from the University of Washington, and a BA in English language and literature, with a minor in professional writing. Ana conducts manuscript evaluations, edits, and proofreads for publishing houses, authors, and organizations around the world. Growing up in a musical family, the piano and voice—her first instruments—are still her favorites, but Ana can also often be found playing the panpipe for her koi fish at her home in Seattle, Washington.
Mia Arias Tsang, interview correspondent
is a writer based in New York City. Her work explores themes of queer desire, intimacy, and disconnect. Her first essay collection, Fragments of Wasted Devotion, is out now with Quilted Press. She lives in Queens with her cat, Peanut, and is working on a novel.
